Moving In

We can’t wait to see you! To make the moving process easier, ensure you have activated your MIT ID, checked your @mit.edu email address, and reviewed your building specific move-in instructions.

Transferring

Guests

Guests are welcome in our residences and must follow all guest policies.

Billing, Fines, and Fees

Monthly rent includes all utilities, and you are not required to provide a security deposit or pay the first or last month’s rent in advance. Learn more about paying for your monthly rent and how to avoid fines and fees.

Renewing Your License

Staying another year? The renewal process happens in March every year to guarantee fall housing for the next academic year.
