Located in the northwest section of campus, Sidney-Pacific features a mix of furnished apartment- and suite-style units for one, two, or four occupants. Some units are designated for couples. It is divided into four wings and features an outdoor courtyard and large patio with barbecue grills.

  • LIVING AREAS AND BEDROOMS are furnished with an extra-long twin bed and mattress, two dressers, wardrobe, bookcase, desk, desk chair and side chair. All bedrooms have wall-to-wall carpeting.

  • KITCHENS include a stove and refrigerator.

About the Community

Opened in Fall 2002, Sidney Pacific (aka Sid-Pac or S-P) is currently the largest on-campus residence at MIT. Here, nearly 700 graduate students of diverse backgrounds and interests come together to build friendships and share talents. With an active residence government, Sid-Pac residents often come together for planned events in their active common spaces or outdoor BBQ pits.
